Educational Excursion Report 2023

An educational field visit Programme has been organized on 28.11.2023 to visit Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Abhayapuri, Assam and Sri Surya Pahar, Goalpara, Assam under the scheme of PM SHRI Programme 2023. In this field visit, total no of students of secondary classes (XII A, XII B, XII C, and XII D) was 90. An another field trip has been organized on 22.12.2023 to visit Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Abhayapuri, Assam and Sri Surya Pahar, Goalpara, Assam under the scheme of PM SHRI Programme 2023. In this field visit-II, total no of students of secondary classes (XI A, XI B, XI C, and XI D) was 157.

The head of the department of Krishi Vigyan KendraDr. Gouranga Das, has presented a beautiful presentation through PPT on the working activities of the Kendra, objective of the Kendra, Methodology of working with farmers. Students have seen different verities of fishes, Rice, Peeper, tomato and different verities of vegetable plants. After the visit of the Kendra students visited the Sri Surya Pahar, Goalpara, Assam. This is an archeological site of the Goalparadistrict; students have also seen the archeological Museum, Stupa, Jain Caves and natural geographical views of mountain, ponds, caves etc.

Krishi Vigyaan Kendra
